Rainow to Shining Tor Mod/Strenuous. Just over 11 miles, ascent 2400ft.
Meet in time to start walking at 10.00. Smithy Lane behind the Robin Hood pub.
Route: Ginclough, Common Barn, Waggonshaw Brow, Howlers Knowl, Pym Chair, Shing Tor, Higher Ballgreave Farm, Hordern Farm.
Parts can be soggy, one stretch of steep road walking just below Pym Chair.
Livestock about so no dogs please.
