Overview

A circuit of Shuttlingsloe without actually going to the top.

Strictly no dogs – they are banned on Piggford Moor.

Route: From Trentabank Reservoir Car Park through forest to Standing Stone; Buxtors Hill; skirt Shuttlingsloe; Wildboarclough; across fields to a steep (but short) ascent on grass on to Piggford Moor; Oakenclough; Hanging Gate; back to start on quiet roads with good views.

Poles may be helpful on two short sections of the walk.
