Overview

We will walk along country lanes to join St Illtud’s Walk.

We’ll then enter Troserch Woods where we will visit several places of interest. 

There will be good views over Loughor Estuary.

We will return to Hendy via the Heart of Wales Trail.

N.B. The walk is mostly on paths with some strenuous sections on steep and muddy paths.

Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to The Black Horse, Hendy

Directions:  From M4, J48, turn right towards Pontarddulais.

In a quarter of a mile, at Hendy Square, turn left onto B4306 (Heol y Parc).

Roadside parking is available on the right, next to the park.

(If full, turn left after 100 metres and park on-street in Heol Llwyn Bedw).
