We are the Cornwall South & West Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting in Carleen we will begin the gradual climb up Tregonning Hill to appreciate the beauty and history of this area. After hopefully admiring the views (weather permitting) we will cross beautiful countryside through Polladras and Crowntown to meet the Helston Railway at Trevarno. We will follow the lane around the Trevarno Estate with its magical moss covered walls and wild flowers before heading up to Sithney and back to Carleen via the old mining tracks.
Hopefully the ground has dried out a bit but be prepared for mixed terrain, so good walking boots needed. Don’t forget lunch and drink.
