Overview

Starting from the car park on Crookham Common we will walk round the northern edge of the common and then head down into the Kennet valley to cross the river and the K&A Canal. We then turn east to the road bridge, cross over the river and continue past Crookham Mill to Crookham Manor before turning southwards and head up the ridge, passing Limberlost Farm to reach Crookham Road.

We will then head east for a short distance and then south again to go down into the Enborne valley, cross over the river and then walk upstream along the bank to the Thornford Road. Here we will recross the river at the ford and continue back up to Crookham Common and the car park.
