A medium to brisk pace walk over undulating terrain.
Route: Uckfield – Great Streele – Blackboys – Dower House Farm – Waldron – Roser’s Cross –
Cross in Hand. At Cross in Hand get the hourly 51 bus to Tunbridge Wells Station for journey back to London.
Lunch stop: in Waldron after 6½ miles: ‘The Star Inn’ or picnic nearby.
Drop-out points: 29A bus from Gun Road, Blackboys to Uckfield after 3½ miles or taxi from Waldron.
Travel: Victoria 8.48, Clapham Junction 8.55, arriving East Croydon 9.06. Change at East Croydon for the 9.23 to Uckfield, arriving 10.23. Buy an Off-Peak Day Return to Uckfield and a single from Tunbridge Wells to Edenbridge.

Start at Uckfield Railway Station.
Finish at Cross in Hand, East Sussex to catch the 51 bus to Tunbridge Wells Railway Station.
