Kelstedge - Ashover - Woolley - Brackenfield - Wessington - Wheatcroft - Crich Cliff (Sherwood Foresters' Memorial) - High Peak Junction (Cromford Canal) - Cromford
Mainly on farm tracks and through fields with the odd section on quiet country lanes before picking up the canal path towards the end of the walk. Through several areas not usually visited by Sheffield Ramblers groups.
Most of the route is covered on the OS Explorer 269 Chesterfield & Alfreton map.
Catch 8.36am X17 from Sheffield Interchange to Kelstedge.
leader will pick bus up at Meadowhead.
This is a there and back walk using the X17 so car users could, in theory, park anywhere on the bus route before Kelstedge and pick the bus up accordingly.
