Overview

Setting off from St Edmunds Church, Walesby we will walk on generally good trails and bridleways through farmland and woodland. The walk is fairly flat with no ascents or descents of concern. there is one awkward but navigable stile at the start. A point of interest will be the Robin Hood caves in a hollow bank beside the River Maun.

Coffee and lunch stops as usual but no toilets.

Please check the walk description again just before the walk in case of any changes due to adverse weather conditions.

Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme. Places are limited to 15 on this walk so make sure you reserve one in good time.
