Overview

This walk, in memory of Mid Sussex Ramblers founder member, Leslie Campbell (Les), is a slightly amended version of one of a collection of walks planned by Les and published in Sussex Living magazine. The walk starts in the pretty village of Ditchling and passes through Westmeston and Streat, breaking after 4.5 miles at Ditchling Sports Pavilion for refreshments before returning to the start point.

We will be walking via Lodge Hill on our way back to the car park after the refreshments to view a kissing gate which is being installed by the Monday Group and dedicated to Les.

Former members of Mid Sussex Ramblers who remember Les are welcome to join the walk and/or come along to Ditchling Pavilion, Lewes Road, Ditchling BN6 8TY from midday for refreshments and to share memories of Les.
