Overview

A circular walk following the route of the old Rothbury and Wansbeck (Wannie) railway line and taking in fields, riverside and woodland.  There is much of historical interest on this walk, including lime kilns, rig and furrow mediaeval fields and, of course, aspects of the railway line itself.
