Meet at Currie Library at 09.30 for 09.45 depart. Cars will be left at Currie Library. Remember bus pass. Numbers limited to 20.
This is an attractive easy walk of 9.5 miles along the Water of Leith, but it is flat and there are plenty of options to leave the walk and get a bus home. We will arrive at the Water of Leith Visitor's Centre around 11.30 where we will have coffee either inside or sit outside (toilets available). Our next stop will be Saughton Park at 12.30 (toilet stop). Lunch in Roseburn Park at 1.00 pm. and the Dean Village at 1.40 We will arrive at Stockbridge around 2.00 pm where there are many coffee shops. We could either have coffee then or bus/walk to Princes Street for the 44 bus home.
