Attractive easy flat walk: approx 6 miles
Leave our cars at Currie Library.
We then walk through Water of Leith :
11.30 Water of Leith Visitors Centre - we will have coffee either inside (good home made cakes) or sit outside.
We then walk along Lanark Road/Slateford Road up some steps on the Canal walkway - (this path can be busy with cyclist and runners). Our walk finishes at Lochrin Basin, Fountainbridge.
Approximate finish time: 12.00. You have the option to get on No 2 bus from Fountainbridge back to Currie Library or you can join me walking down to The Caley Picture House (Weatherspoons), Lothian Road for lunch. We then can get the No 44 bus from Shandwick Place.
