This is a pleasant circular walk of approximately 8.5miles beginning from the centre of St. John's Town Dalry. The terrain is varied and the route will take us along the banks of rivers, through woodlands and open moorland, skirting round Dunveoch Hill, before reaching and following the SUW to climb up and over Waterside Hill and return to our start. Hopefully we will rewarded with excellent views of the valley and surrounding hills.
Some sections of this could potentially be muddy and slippy so gaiters and poles are advised.

We will meet at East Ayrshire Council HQ at the earlier time of 8.15 for an 8.30 departure
Meeting point is at East Ayrshire Headquarters 95 London Road Kilmarnock KA3 7BU where car sharing will be organised.
I have gained permission to park in Lochinvar Hotel car park. We can enjoy a light refreshment before travelling home, if open.
