Come along with Peter to explore hidden countryside between Waunarlwydd, Hendrefoilan and Dunvant.
N.B. Please note the change to the start point. Some of the route will be on wet, muddy paths so come with good footwear and walking poles.
We’ll see some great views as we make our way from Dunvant to climb the recently registered footpath 113 to the top of the hillside overlooking Hendrefoilan.
From the top, we will see Mumbles Lighthouse, Gower and the countryside to the north of the M4.
We will then turn east to follow footpath 114 across the Hendrefoilan Ridge towards Carnglas. This is a path which most of us will never have used but gives wonderful views over Swansea Bay and into Gower.
Descending through Hendrefoilan, we’ll enter Clyne Country Park. There will be a stop at the Railway Inn before joining the Active Travel Path back to Dunvant.
Social after walk
Afterwards, we can go back to the Dunvant Pub for refreshments.
