A walk that heads south to ascend the Hendrefoilan Ridge for panoramic views in all directions.
We’ll walk a mixture of country, urban and semi-urban paths to enjoy a varied walk in an area not often visited by us.
We’ll discover hidden paths, pass close to an estate being built on the student village and find countryside sandwiched between urban areas of Swansea.
Stiles: There are no stiles on this walk.
Toilets: At the end of the walk in the pub.
Terrain: Steep ascents to pass over then return across the Hendrefoilan Ridge (We’ll take it at a gentle pace).
Some mud. Uneven surfaces with loose stones. Shallow streams to cross.
Walking poles recommended.
Social after walk:
Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to The Farmers.
