Overview

Starting from Cadira Beeches car park we walk through the ancient woodlands before the steep climb up Gray Hill for some excellent views. We then descend through the fields and follow the Castrogi brook through Earlswood before climbing back to Wentwood and back to the car along woodland paths..

Cadira Beeches car park in Wentwood Forest. From the A48 turn right (coming from Chepstow) just past Caerwent to Llanvair Discoed. Then turn right in the village taking the Usk road until you reach Cadira Beeches car park on your right after about 3 miles.
