Overview

A lovely evening walk from Wentworth through the very pleasant countryside to Thorpe Hesley.  Looking back from Thorpe Hesley we see Wentworth Woodhouse, the focal point of the area.  (A point of interest - Wentworth is mentioned in the Domesday Book and around 1250 Thomas Wentworth married Emma Woodhouse!!!).  On our return there is an opportunity to have a drink/social chat in one of the local pubs.
