The walk begins at Windwhistle Lane in Weston-Super-Mare. For the initial portion, participants follow local roads, passing through the Weston-Super-Mare Golf Club. The route then heads towards the beach, which serves as the path back towards Uphill. Upon reaching Uphill, there is an opportunity to rest and enjoy coffee and cake at the café. After the break, the walk continues along footpaths leading up to the church, followed by a descent down to the road and a final stretch back to the starting point.
The ascent to the church is gradual and steady, while the descent is notably steep. For safety and comfort, it is recommended that walkers wear sturdy walking boots and consider using walking poles.
Dogs Welcome. Will need to be kept on leads around livestock.
