DISTANCE 13m, 2450ft ascent .
Some steep ascents and descent, some slippy if wet. A few rickety stiles.
Livestock in fields, no dogs please.
From carpark over Wetton Hill to Wettonmill and Dale Farm, over Sugarloaf and past Top of Ecton. Over Ecton Hill, cross Manifold Way and to Warslow. Then to Villa Farm, Clayton House and on to Butterton. Past Springfield Farm and on to Grindmoor Gate and then to Grindon. Return through Layside Wood, along Manifold Way to Weag’s Bridge, round Beeston Tor and on to Larkstone Lane. Over Wetton Low back to carpark.
