Overview

A varied route through woodland and open farmland using well surfaced paths and tracks to explore a section of the Wey and Arun Junction Canal together with the site of 16th C glassworks in Sidney Wood, the restored lock of Gennets Bridge and various other features bound in the west by Upper Ifold and in the east by Alfold. The terrain provides for comfortable walking and has a total ascent of just 250 ft
