WALK DESCRIPTION: Morning walk: 5 miles fairly flat using canal tow paths, field paths and tracks. Afternoon walk: 3.5 miles , 325ft total ascent. Woodland and field paths and tracks.

JOINING INSTRUCTIONS: This is a figure of eight walk from the Mary Arden Inn at Wilmcote, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 9JX. Please be ready to start walking from the Inn at 10.25 am We will walk to the station to meet members arriving by train. Travel. By car. Leave M40 at junction 15. Follow A46 Stratford/Warwick Road to Park and Ride roundabout. Take 4th exit, A3400, Birmingham Road. At 1 mile take left turn, signed Mary Arden’s Farm. Continue ¼ mile and the Pub/Inn is on the left. Car park at the rear. By Train: Catch 9.38 am from Moor Street Station to Stratford-upon-Avon. Alight at Wilmcote station 10.39 am. The walk leader and the rest of the group will meet you at the station. Travel costs from Moor Street Station £9.30, off peak day return. Holders of Centro bus passes will need an off-peak day return ticket from The Lakes station to Wilmcote station £5.80.
