Overview

In March the water meadows around Wisborough Green were too flooded for walking. Let's try again to meander alongside the River Arun, seeing parts of the Wey & Arun canal that are not yet navigable, and restoration work on locks and swing bridge. It is a beautiful lowland area, walking through buttercup filled meadows. Several stiles, but no hills! One field with (peaceful) cattle. One stretch of lane walking. Refreshment options at any of 3 pubs or Italian cafe afterwards.
