Please bring a hot drink and a picnic for this festive walk on local ground.Mince pies to be supplied, no entry requirements for bake off fulfilled.
We start from Clayton and cross to reach the summit of Wolstonbury where we should get plenty of fresh air. Descend to Pyecombe to stop at the church for our morning break( well that’s the idea.. assuming no Christmas service in progress). Continuing around the hill to reach Hurstpierpoint via farm tracks passing Foxholes and Randolph’s. We will stop for our picnic at Hurstpierpoint before making our way back to the start. There may be some muddy/ slippery stretches but aiming to use tracks where possible.
