Join us on a varied walk through the Hucking Estate, through Woodland Trust land and partly on the North Downs Way affording us beautiful views across the Kent Countryside . The walk is mainly woodland and fields with a very small section of road walking. It is mostly flat with one upward slope at the beginning and one steep , short and tricky descent. There will be a nibble break just over halfway so we can get an excellent view. There are 10 stiles.
UPDATE: There are two very overgrown paths of about half a mile each where you will encounter nettles and also two fields where the paths have not been reinstated. It would be advisable NOT to wear shorts and if it has been raining over trousers may help prevent you getting very damp. It would be a good idea to bring poles to help clear path.
The pub meeting place is reached via about 3 miles of narrow country lanes. Drive through the first car park onto the second which has no marked spaces.
Dogs on short leads only as we go through livestock fields and overgrown paths.
No need to book separately for lunch at the pub as a table is reserved for us although we may ask for numbers and menu choices before setting off.
