We head to Lamlash on the Isle of Arran for a 4-night stay in September. The base for the trip is Arran Lodge and Sleep Huts, in the village of Lamlash, a few miles south of Brodick and the ferry terminal. Subject to ferry timings, a walk will be arranged for the afternoon of arrival day, Friday 12th September. There will be two walks per day on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with a final short walk on Tuesday 16th September, again depending on ferry times.
Arran has wonderful coastal, countryside and mountain walking possibilities. A highlight for hillwalkers might be an ascent of Goatfell, Arran's highest hill, a Corbet at 2866 feet. A full range of walks will be arranged to suit all abilities of walker.
