Overview

This holiday is now fully booked.

Participants must be used to full day walks and be capable of safely maintaining a reasonable pace over rocky terrain with steep ascents and descents where it will be necessary to use your hands occasionally.
The 2026 lake District holiday will be based in Keswick.  We will travel on Friday 19th June, returning on Friday 26th June. You are welcome to join all or part of the week, if anyone wants to do just the weekend, or a long weekend, then that is fine.
Participants will book their own accommodation and meet for the organised walks and evening meals.  Choosing accommodation close to the town centre will make it easier for you to join the evening meals.
There may be car sharing options to travel to Keswick, or it is possible to take a train to Penrith followed by the X5 bus.
To book a place contact Clive Haynes and then book your own accommodation.  Numbers will be limited, if necessary, to maintain safe walk leader ratios and to make evening meal bookings manageable.
