*** Ramblers North Strathclyde AGM ***

Dear Members of North Strathclyde Area,

 We would like to invite you to the North Strathclyde Area AGM, which will be held at the Fairview Room, Pearce Institute, 840-860 Govan Road, G51 3UU, Glasgow, on Saturday, 7 February, 2026 at 10 am for 10.30 am start.

Please find attached the North Strathclyde Area AGM 2026 Booklet which contains the Agenda, Annual Report and Accounts.  Minutes of last year's AGM and/or a copy of the current Area Constitution will be available at the meeting, or can be requested in advance by contacting the Area Officers of the North Strathclyde Area at    northstrathclydearea@gmail.com.  A list of the nominees for election, and any motions to be discussed, will also be available at the meeting or can be requested from the Area Officers (please note that we will not be able to provide these until the week prior to the meeting).

 Please note that nominations are invited for:
• Area Officers (Convener, Treasurer, Secretary, Membership Secretary, Minute Secretary, Footpath & Countryside Co-ordinator, Publicity Officer),
• representatives of individual members to Area Council,
• two representatives of Area to Scottish Council
• two representatives of Area to General Council

We would like to encourage you all to attend the Area AGM to hear more about what the Area Council has been doing for the last year.

After the meeting, there will be a walk (approximately 2 hours), led by the Glasgow Ramblers group.  Further information on the walk will be shared at the AGM.
