A treasure hunt around York city centre looking for answers to a quiz on York's history and architecture, highlighting some often overlooked features of this historic city. Teams of 4 or 5 will work together to uncover all the answers before the time limit expires.
This will be a joint social event between Midlife Hikers and Get Your Boots On, and teams will be assigned on the day to include members from both groups.
We will meet at the Cross Keys on Goodramgate to assign teams and give out quiz sheets. We will return to the Cross Keys to mark the answers and crown our winning team, and have a few drinks and food (optional).
The route around the city centre covers about 3.5 miles, so wear comfy footwear.
