Group name: Linlithgow
This group is a part of Lothian & Borders Area.
The Linlithgow Group provides an active programme of walks on three days of the week. Due to the popularity of Wednesday walks, there are now usually two or even three walks each Wednesday, with grades ranging from easy 3 mile walks up to Corbetts or Munros. The photo above is Manor Valley from Cademuir Hill Fort, near Peebles, February 2020, on one of our Wednesday walks.
Please take a look at our walks programme and if any of our walks interests you, contact the Walk Leader for further information, or where no contact details are provided please click here to contact us and we'll email you back with details of how to contact the Walk Leader.
We have a system providing information on forthcoming walks and other appropriate issues by email. This has proved very popular, especially for late changes to the advertised walks. If you wish to join our mailing list for this please click here for instructions
DOGS: Dogs are not permitted on walks where livestock may be encountered. On other walks, dogs may be allowed at the discretion of the walk leader, who must be consulted prior to the walk.
Where car sharing is involved, we operate a voluntary contribution towards fuel costs at a suggested rate of 80p per 10 miles/16km per person.
Please note: the "Start time" listed in the Group Walks and Events Manager is the departure time from the West Port, Linlithgow, unless the walk description specifies a different meeting point such as Linlithgow Railway Station. To obtain the expected start time of the walk, you are advised to contact the walk leader, as that information is not available at the time the Programme of Walks is assembled.
