A 12 mile circular walk from Old Alresford following sections of The Oxdrove over Itchen Stoke Down towards Itchen Abbas before crossing the River Itchen to Avington. This walk has some fine views of the Itchen valley and of the river itself. At present it is dry underfoot on field paths, tracks and lanes.
This is a picnic walk so please bring drinks and food for two short breaks.
Please let the walk leader know if you are planning to join this walk as we may leave early if all known walkers have arrived.
The Christy Hall, The Green, Old Alresford SO24 9DH. Parking is available on the road and layby - please do not park in the village hall car park.
