Walking from the Hampshire Bowman at Dundridge, with woodland tracks, then the open landscape of the South Downs, and circling back via quiet minor roads and footpaths to the pub. Not flat, but no steep hills. 4 stiles, all in good condition. Good views and good under foot on the recce, but will be muddier in places after heavy rain.
Please indicate if you want to stay for lunch at The Hampshire Bowman. We have a reservation for inside this lovely pub, but if the weather is kind, the open outside area is very large, with good spacing between tables. We will probably need to pre-order, here is the link to the Hampshire Bowman current menu.
