Overview

The walk starts at 10 am at Holly Hill car park Barnes Lane. SO31 7BH, SU500081. The car park is free of charge and has public toilets.

This is a walk of 8.5 miles through Swanwick Nature reserve in the morning and along the Hamble shore and Holly Hill Woodland Park in the afternoon.

Our coffee stop will be by one of the lakes in the nature reserve and lunch will be at The Old Ship. There is seating for picnickers by the water.

This is a pretty and varied walk through woodland and by the water. There are some uneven paths and short ups and downs throughout the walk but also some good paths and road walking.
