Overview

Parking at Frensham Little pond National Trust Car Park. GU10 3BT. (Free car parking for NT members but charges will apply otherwise).
Note. There are 2 car parks. Please park in furthest one.

Meet at 10.30am to start today's 8 mile walk.

We skirt the edge of Frensham pond and follow pine trees onto sandy tracks and an area known as the Flashes, which is a heather basin. Comparable to the Scottish highlands. There is a very severe short climb to Stoney Jump, before lunch, but so worth it as the views are wonderful.
Heading through Hankley common and golf course there's a possible pub stop at the Duke of Cambridge.

Please wear strong shoes/ waterproofs and bring packed lunch as usual.
