This walk follows the Wales Coast Path along Anglesey’s dramatic northeast shoreline, linking the wide sands of Red Wharf Bay with the wild and unspoilt Lligwy Beach. The route combines sweeping sea views, rugged cliffs, quiet coves and rolling farmland, with plenty of opportunities to spot seabirds and enjoy the changing coastal scenery.
Starting at Red Wharf Bay, the path winds along headlands and past rocky inlets, offering panoramic views across the Irish Sea. As we approach Lligwy, the landscape becomes more remote and rugged, ending at one of Anglesey’s most scenic beaches with a bonus Pizza bar at the end where we can grab some food if people want.
