From Bridgnorth we will make our way alongside the River Severn before branching off at Quatford and walking through some woodland. We will then be walking through fields and some small sections of quiet country road, whilst taking in some pleasant views as we head toward Roughton. After Roughton we will head through fields and woodland to Rindleford, where we will cross and walk alongside the River Worfe for a while before crossing back over further downstream. The views are good near Rindleford and you will see some of the sandstone rock that the Bridgnorth area is famous for! From here we make our way back to Bridgnorth. Optional pub stop at the end 🍻
There are a few stiles to negotiate on this walk, along with some rough ground and it is likely to be quite muddy in places if we have any rain near the time. Please bring appropriate footwear and clothing. There are also several busy main road crossings, although visibility is good (just remember your Green Cross Code!😆). Bring plenty of water and a packed lunch/snacks.
Livestock and horses on route; dogs welcome but must be kept under close control.
