New Date Arranged
This walk will now take place on 21st March. It was postponed due to bad weather.
Join us for a walk near the Herefordshire/Shropshire border starting and finishing in the beautiful, historic village of Brampton Bryan.
Expect woodland, some hill views and a mixture of footpath and lane walking.
We will be stopping at the end of the walk at Aardvark Books and Café to warm up after a nice winter walk. We can have a hot drink, lunch and look around at some of the 50,000 books they have in stock. More details about Aardvark books here: https://www.aardvark-books.com/about
Public Transport
There are some public transport options by bus which can be discussed with the walk leader.
There is also Bucknell Train Station a 1.7 mile walk from the start of the walk. I have walked from there in the past but you could also cycle, though part of it is on a main road.
Car Sharing
There may also be the option to car share with other walkers. Let me know if this would help you access the walk and I can give you a link to SYR's car sharing whatsapp groups.
Dogs
This walk is suitable for dogs but a lead will be needed because of sheep grazing. Aardvark Books also welcome dogs saying that "Dogs on leads and their well-behaved owners are welcome, but no dogs upstairs or in the childrens' Book Burrow please."
