Overview

Starting from the Roebuck Inn in Appleton this is a relatively level walk along quiet roads, tracks, grassland and woodland.

We head along a country track towards Bolton Percy. We then continue on tracks towards the River Wharfe, before following the river to Bolton Ings. We then return to the outskirts of Bolton Percy before crossing the railway and following Oak Avenue and Dam Lane.. Then there is some woodland walking along good tracks on the return to Appleton Roebuck.
