Knaresborough
From the car park we head anti-clockwise along well-made paths. When we reach the lovely Nidd Gorge and Viaduct, the paths are more challenging, pretty and possibly muddy. We skirt round the outer edges of Old Bilton and Starbeck, sometimes using the cycle-track. After crossing more fields we eventually get back to the river Nidd and Knaresborough, where there are plenty of interesting things to do and see.
