Walk details

Today’s circular walk takes us towards the Siren Brewery from Wokingham, which has won major awards like "Best New Brewery in England". Starting at Wokingham station, we’ll leave Wokingham by following the Greenway Route B and Heron Road Playing Fields to take us towards Barkham. After this, we’ll walk past St James’ Church towards Arborfield Green via Hazebrouck Meadows Country Park, which we walk through towards the Siren Brewery. We’ll have our lunch stop here as well as having some time to try some of their local craft beers.

After lunch, we’ll briefly walk long the same route to leave Arborfield Green before walking along the California Greenway towards Finchampstead. Here, we walk through the village towards The Moors, which we then pass to start heading back towards Wokingham, of which we pass under the railway a couple of times. Near the end of the walk, we’ll walk through Elms Field park back to our finishing point at Wokingham station. For those who want a pint at the end of the walk, we’ll be stopping at The Station Tap, which is opposite the station.
