A short walk from Woolhampton to Aldermaston and Aldermaston Wharf, before returning via the River Kennet path to the Rowbarge pub.
Advance booking is not required, but if you plan on attending this walk, please indicate this on Meetup if you can (see Website link), so others can see that there will be plenty of people going.

Walk details
After meeting in the Rowbarge car park, we'll head south down Station Road and take the countryside footpath heading to Aldermaston. There we'll have a chance for a lunch break, before continuing up Fisherman's Lane into Aldermaston Wharf. Then we'll follow the picturesque Kennet path back to the Rowbarge, crossing a couple of bridges along the way.

By public transport
If travelling from Reading, catch the 10.43 train from Reading, arriving in Midgham at 10.58. The Rowbarge pub is a few minutes walk south down Station Road.
By car
There is very limited parking available at Midgham Station and in Woolhampton. More parking is available at the overflow car park behind the Rowbarge.
Dogs
Dogs welcome on this walk, provided they are kept under control at all times and placed on a lead when requested by the walk leader.
