We'll head south using hard tracks, footpaths and quiet lanes making our way to Milton Street for a drinks break, then via the tiny Lullington church where we'll pause if anyone wishes to go inside, before heading through Alfriston. We'll have lunch in Berwick church (boots off please!) and then continue north back to the reservoir car park. On the day of our recce the farmers were busy ploughing fields which our path crossed. Beautiful views to be had on a clear day.
Arlington car park charges apply, payment by card only. Roadside parking in layby opposite entrance. Toilets and cafe are usually open.
There are some stiles, all in fair condition.
