Overview

Join me on this walk from Packington following Packington Nook Lane to the outskirts of Ashby. A wander through the Shellbrook Woods (shall we do the zig zags?) to a coffee stop at Hicks Lodge.

Leaving Hicks we visit the site of Thortit pit before crossing Ashby golf course and picking up the footpath back to Packington.
