Overview

Starting from Morrison's car park, Gorse Covert, this walk will take you to Dishley Grange and Robert Bakewell's grave, Stonebow washlands, along the disused Charnwood Forest Railway and into Garendon Park with its obelisk and the Temple of Venus and back to Morrison's where those who wish can find refreshments in Maxwell's pub next door.
