We start from the Singleton Lakes free car park on Bucksford Lane ( 6’6” height barrier and if wet very muddy) and take the Greensand Way through Godinton Park then onto the Warren, over the golf course through Sandyacres and Lenacre Hall Farm.
Drink stop at the Old Mill pub on the A28.
Then we pick up the Great Stour past Conningbrook Lakes and follow the river through the town and Victoria Park.
The delights of the Outlet and County Square shopping centre will be readily accessible for those wanting to take an unnecessary diversion.
