Park and meet at the free Village Hall car park, Woodland Rd, Lyminge.
This is a circular walk along byways, quiet lanes and footpaths via Shearins Farm, Arpinge, Peene and then following the Elham Valley Way to Etchinghill before crossing the Golf Course to return to Lyminge. There are hills en route across the Downs but we’ll aim to walk at a comfortable pace.
There are some stiles and we are likely to encounter livestock in places. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome but the stiles may not be dog-friendly.
There are public toilets in Lyminge and refreshments are available in the village on our return.
Expected finish time is around 13.30.
