Overview

We will walk northwards from Ashwell to Barrowsford Bridge which crosses the River Rhee.  the return is southwestwards along the "Ridge Way" track to Hinxworth Place and then east over Newnham Hill.

The countryside is attractive throughout the walk and the views in places are always appreciated.  We did this walk last year in very heavy rain but the small group of walkers still managed to enjoy their walk.
