Overview

This is a walk from Rushden to Sandon.  The outward leg goes through Friars Wood and Roe Green and we will return through Redhill and Shaw Green.

We should see bluebells and wild garlic in flower at this time of year (although the timing of the season is never guaranteed).  We will walk through several sections of the Sandon Rewilding Project which is always interesting.

It is one of the leader's favourite walks.  But the route can be muddy if it has rained recently.

Meet in the car park at Mill End plants. Please double park at the bottom end of the car park to provide space for the garden centre customers. Walkers are expected to take refreshments at Mill End Plants after the walk in exchange for free parking (the cakes are popular). Alternatively you can park at the church and walk down.
