We are the Livingston Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a moderate circular walk starting at Linlithgow Canal basin, the walk follows part of the River Avon heritage trail and part of the John Muir Way, exploring the Avon Aqueduct and Muiravonside country park, before returning to Linlithgow via the south side of the loch.
Please note - there are steps descending from the aqueduct; some parts of the route may be muddy after rain.

Our policy is to try and car share where possible and split the cost of fuel. We are always in need of volunteer drivers. If you can offer a lift, please let the walk leader know.

Parking is available in the Long Stay car park at Regent Square, next to Tesco or on adjacent street parking.
Toilets are available at Tesco and Linlithgow Railway Station
Optional Tea and Scones will be available in Linlithgow at the end of the walk.
