Overview

The hike starts at Glen Artney Church car park and mainly follows hill tracks onto Ben Halton. The final approach to Ben Halton and Mor Bheinn is largely pathless, with indistinct paths in places. It is intended to descend via Ben Halton's east ridge to Tomanour and return by hill tracks to the start. There are fine views across Strathearn, Glen Artney and the surrounding hills. Red kites frequent the area. The walk is strenuous (B+).
