Overview

This is a challenging walk along the west bank of the East Dart until Sandy Ford. Here the crossing can be tricky. We’ll then head over open moor to find the remains of Statt’s House (a tinner’s hut). Then to Sittiford and Grey Wethers stone circle to pick up the good track south. We’ll visit the Sheepfold ( an interesting, failed 19th century enterprise) before returning via Hartland Tor to Postbridge.
